The idea of Jesus being our Heavenly Groom has intrigued me ever since I was a little girl and the past few years this idea has slowly, but steadily grown firmer, being my hope through this world’s tribulations. Imagine my excitement when I held the manuscript for “Bride Adorned” in my hands. At last, a “bridal manual” to prepare Christians for the glorious day when Jesus will come to take this Bride home… us! It was with abated breath that I started the first chapter, and I was completely blown away by the comparisons. It set the stage and I was hooked and had to read on. I loved the way the reader is gently led through the stages of faith, through our human weaknesses and concerns, and on towards the glorious culmination! The glimpses into the author’s life make the script easy to relate to and add a personal touch. The script in totality is easy to read, but also keeps interest up to the last chapter.
